EASA is the gold standard for pilot licensing in Europe. It regulates civil aviation safety across 32 EU member states and several associated countries. EASA pilot theory exams cover 14 subjects for ATPL and require both written and oral examination components.

Exam Format

Multiple-choice written exams across 14 subjects, with a 75% pass mark per subject. Exams are taken at approved test centres. Candidates have 18 months to complete all subjects from their first attempt.
